Power Outage Services Company offers full generator service including warranty repairs, troubleshooting, replacement parts, and more. During regular business hours, Maintenance contract customers get a discount on the service rate. Non Maintenance contact customers have to pay the standard rate. For emergency or non-business hours, the rate is higher, but maintenance customers still get a lower rate.
Maintenance Plans
Plan 1
During emergency situations, maintenance contract customers go to the top of our call list, ahead of non-maintenance contract customers.
The standard annual maintenance plan includes service completed by our Generac and Kohler factory-trained technicians for the following items:
- Oil Change
- New Oil Filter, Air filter, and Spark plug(s)
- Inspection of hoses, ignition wires, and Weather Casing
- Check & report propane level
- Check electrical output: At generator, At terminal, At transfer switch, At circuit panel
- Review history, run time, and alarm codes
- Check and cycle electronics
- Clean entire machine
- Test entire machine and circuits
- Load test battery
- Test Battery charging system
- Test transfer switch
The standard maintenance plan also includes reduced standard & emergency service rates.
Plan 2
We offer a second maintenance plan called a “tri-visit” plan. The tri-visit plan includes all of the benefits of the standard maintenance plan, but instead of one visit per year, we visit three times to ensure your generator is running perfectly. The tri-visit plan is designed towards commercial applications and customers that are away for months at a time in which the customer needs to make sure the generator is always in pristine condition.
Generator Service
Power Outage Services Company offers full generator service involving warranty issues, troubleshooting, replacement parts, and more. During regular business hours, service rates for customers with maintenance contracts are $95/hour (with ½ hour minimum), and for non-maintenance contract customers $125/hour (2-hour minimum). For emergency or non-business hour service calls, our rate is $185/hour (2-hour minimum).
